
Valdemar appears on the album Sounds of Eggenberg with the ensemble ÄrtHouse 17. It brings together music that is dedicated to the Eggenberg dynasty in Graz, Austria, or was created in its neighbourhood. Artists such as Sophie Daneman, Markus Schäfer, Valdemar Villadsen, Dominik Wörner, Alfia Bakieva and Sophie Vanden Eynde perform music by Schütz, Landi, Gaultier, Prinner and Draghi. Michael Hell conducts the Ärt House 17 ensemble.
The album was nominated for an International Classical Music Award 2026 in the category Baroque Vocal Album of the Year.
The exhibition Ambition & Illusion at Schloss Eggenberg in Graz incorporates music from the album Sounds of Eggenberg as part of its immersive audio experience. Ambition & Illusion received the award for International Exhibition of the Year at the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026.
